TSS UNDERGROUND has provided the mining and tunneling industry with comprehensive solutions regarding the evaluation, design, management and support of several geotechnical projects.
The plan involved the reinforcement of the rock mass for the construction of a vertical ventilation shaft with the raise boring method. The geological formation includes alluvial deposits and quartz rocks. In total, 70 holes with diameter of 4 inches and length of 40 meters were drilled and grouted with a total 100 tons of cement grout. Geophysical-seismic tests were conducted before and after the grouting processin order to evaluate the improvement of the rock mass.

The project aimed to investigate and evaluate the geotechnical condition of the rock mass at a depth of 100 meters, in which the Gerorema Underground Mine would be designed. Our company provided consultancy services and management of the geological & geotechnical investigation. In total 2.320 meters were drilled with the method of standardized Wireline diamond Core drilling and 640 meter were drilled with Double tube core drilling type. Offered Services

Our company provided consultancy services for the installation of rockbolts in a 330 meter section of the Platamonas Tunnel. The phases of the project included equipment and drilling rig mobilization, design – management and cost control for drilling and installation works in the interior tunnel section.
