Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a process consisting of three stages. The first stage is the evaluation of the likely environmental impacts of a project on the overall environment, the population, the economy, the monuments, the landscape, the availability of mineral resources, the risks emanating from the mining operation and the interaction between them. The second stage addresses the means and measures that will prevent or reduce the environmental impacts. The third stage involves the monitoring phase of the project. EIA is involved in the permit procedure and due to its complexity it mandates special attention. Our environmental department is staffed by highly competent environmental engineering consultants with extensive experience in their field in order to assist you in surpassing the standard requirements that are governed by the national laws and legislations.
At TSS-UNDERGROUND we focus on finding solutions that mitigate the potential impacts resulting from all stages of the mining activity, while aiming in the best technical solution at the optimal price.
